Abstract
A library which allows to carry out single sample and split double sample cross validationprocedures in the exploratory factor analysis model is presented. Theoretical aspects
concerning the utility of the procedures in the assessment of the number of common factors
to retain are discussed. An applied example is included to illustrate the use of the library.
