Abstract
This article aims to show the similarities in style that exist between the works of
three of the most representative authors of the Surrealist movement in Spain: the poet
Federico García Lorca, the painter Salvador Dalí and the film director Luis Buñuel. The three
were friends and they stayed together at the Student Residence of Madrid, where the seed of
their mutual inter-influence and friendship grew. As a result, they started to share their life
experiences, dreams and their past… and thanks to these conversations, now we may
understand the similarities in the style/… of the three.
