Las Humanidades en el siglo XXI

Abstract

Humanities seem to have been forgotten in a teaching context which gives priority to the two greats areas: Economy and Technology. In front of this worrying scenario, humanists must claim the labour of the historical human dimension transmission and the knowledge of our civilization origins. The figure of the humanist must declare on a society who needs its intellectuals to explain to the rest of the community, the world we live in and the future to come near and, consistently, to manage oneŽs life in an effective, fair and critical world..
