Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate free access to its contents, at no cost to the user or his institution or registration requirements, from the moment of its publication in this electronic edition, based on the principle that making research available to the public in a manner free favors the global exchange of knowledge.

Publication in this journal is free of article processing charges and does not impose any costs on the authors.

Availability of data and materials

Sending a manuscript to the journal Archives of Pathology implies that the materials described in the manuscript, including all relevant raw data included in the application, will be freely available to any scientist who wishes to use them for non-commercial purposes, without violating the participant confidentiality.

We recommend that authors ensure that their data sets are deposited in publicly available repositories (when available and appropriate) or presented in the main manuscript or in additional supporting files, in machine-readable format (such as worksheets). calculation instead of PDF) whenever possible.

Data and material availability section

All authors should include a "Availability of data and materials" section in their manuscript that details where the data supporting their findings can be found. Authors who do not wish to share their data must indicate that the data will not be shared and give the reason.

Material and data availability statements can take one of the following forms (or a combination of more than one if required for multiple data sets):

- The data sets generated or analyzed during the current study are available in the repository of [NAME], [PERSISTENT WEB LINK TO DATA SETS]

- The data sets used and / or analyzed during the current study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.

- All data generated or analyzed during this study is included in this published article [and its supplementary information files].

- The data sets generated and / or analyzed during the current study are not publicly available due to [REASON WHY THE DATA IS NOT PUBLIC] but are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.

- Data sharing does not apply to this article as no data sets were generated or analyzed during the current study.

- Data supporting the findings of this study are available from [name of third party], but there are restrictions on the availability of these data, which were used under license for the current study and are therefore not publicly available. However, the data is available from the authors upon reasonable request and with the permission of [third party name].

- Does not apply. If your manuscript does not contain any information, please indicate "Not applicable" in this section.

Archives of Pathology supports the Force 11 Data Citation Principles and requires that all publicly available data sets be fully referenced in the reference list with an accession number or unique identifier, such as a digital object identifier (DOI).

Reproducibility

Archives of Pathology requires that authors of articles submitted for external review include relevant details on various elements of experimental and analytical design in their manuscripts. This initiative aims to improve the transparency of reports and the reproducibility of published results, focusing on elements of methodological information that are often poorly reported. Authors asked to resubmit a manuscript will be asked to confirm that these items are included by completing a checklist that will be available to the editor and reviewers.

Research data policy

An inherent principle of publication is that others should be able to replicate and build on the published claims of the authors. We strongly recommend that all data sets on which the conclusions of the article are based are available to readers. We encourage authors to ensure that their data sets are deposited in public repositories (when available and appropriate) or presented in the main manuscript or in additional backup files whenever possible. If no public repository exists, the information should be available to editors and reviewers at the time of submission, and to readers immediately upon request. Any restrictions on the availability of material or other relevant information should be disclosed in the Methodology section of the manuscript and should include details of how the materials and information can be obtained.
