Abstract
In view of the article "The image maker Alonso de Covarrubias in Rome", written by Juan José Coplés and María Elena Aguado, presenting as a novelty the presence of Alonso de Covarrubias in Rome in 1508 and in which they express "to what extent significant novelty will imply the need to undertake a review, in a Roman key, of the extensive work of the immortal genius from Toledo”, we express a series of arguments with the opinion that it is not possible to establish a direct relationship between this trip to Italy and its architectural style later, so it is not possible to consider a review, in a Roman key, of the work of the immortal genius from Toledo as a result of this discovery.
