Abstract
Soto castle, located on the Aller council, is probably one of the most important and unknown medieval assemblies in the Principality of Asturias. Recently, the structural consolidation work of its tower has been concluded. At the same time, other parts of the castle have been intervened: walls, capel, fortress house, etc. These works, adding to the archeological intervention, have served to rescue the building from oblivion and to give us more information about its evolution. This article explains this process and the final result, as well as divulges the main values of the site.
