Abstract

Since 1983, the Official College of Architects of Asturias has promoted a biennial Architecture Award which distinguishes the best and most relevant architectural works carried out by its collegiate members. The Asturias Architecture Award recognizes the talent, quality, dedication and commitment of our architects in the development of their work, and distinguish the most outstanding architectural results. In any case, these awards have diverse and complementary purposes: on the one hand, to recognize and distinguish relevant works, and to encourage professionals to Excel; on the other hand, disseminate the nature of architectural works, showing the varied contributions of architecture to the well-being of society.
