Resumen
Resumen Esta investigación surge de la experiencia de una estancia Erasmus en un colegio de Primaria de Glasgow (Escocia). El acercamiento a un sistema educativo diferente al español, así como la experiencia en las aulas y en las diferentes actividades llevadas a cabo por ese centro, fueron los que impulsaron la realización de una comparativa entre ambos países (España y Escocia) en cuanto a educación se refiere. Por ello, se ha pretendido analizar y comparar diferentes aspectos de 2 colegios: por un lado, un Primary School de Glasgow, y por otro, un colegio público de Educación Infantil y Primaria situado en Avilés. El principal objetivo al realizar esta investigación ha sido indagar en las técnicas, los métodos y las formas de organización más interesantes y transferibles de ambos colegios y sistemas educativos. Debe constar, sin embargo, que al ser fruto de una experiencia personal en 2 centros concretos, la muestra de centros no garantiza la representatividad de ambos países.
Abstract This paper derives from the experience of an Erasmus placement in a Primary School in Glasgow (Scotland). The approchement to a new educational system, also the experience in the classroom and the different activities carried out by the school, motivated me to prepare a comparison between the 2 countries (Scotland and Spain) in the educational field. I have analyzed and compared different aspects of both schools where I had an internship: on the one hand, a Primary School in Glasgow, and on the other hand, a Nursery and Primary School placed in Avilés. The main purpose of this research is to explore in the techniques, methods and ways of organization that are more interesting and transferable from both schools and educational systems. As it is the result of a personal experience, the sample of schools does not guarantee the representation of both countries.
