PERIODICITY
Ería has been a quarterly journal since 1987, after having been published annually from 1980 to 1982 and semiannually from 1983 to 1986.
The journal's issues are published at the end of each calendar quarter.
Exceptionally, for thematic reasons or editorial flow circumstances beyond the journal's team, Ería has published double issues. In this case, the double issue was released at the end of the second cumulative quarter.
The numbering system changed in 2017, once the issue 100 was reached. From that moment, each issue is identified as follows: Volumen [year, followed by the cardinal that identifies the four-month period, in Arabic numerals]. Año [cardinal that identifies the antiquity of the journal, in Roman numerals].
Example, in 2017:
Volumen 2017-1. Año XXXVII
Volumen 2017-2. Año XXXVII
Volumen 2017-3. Año XXXVII
In order to facilitate automatic data extraction to bibliographic databases, an alternative system is also used: volume + cardinal number that indicates the number of years, followed by the number of the four -month period also in cardinal; next, current year in parentheses.
Example, in 2017:
Vol. 37 No. 1 (2017)
Vol. 37 No. 2 (2017)
Vol. 37 No. 3 (2017)
PRE-PRINT
When the editorial process of a paper is completed before the end of each four-month period (including the different formal and graphic treatments), the journal pre-publishes and assigns DOI so that authorship is officially registered.
In accordance with the open access and self-archiving policy, authors are authorized to self-archive articles in their pre- and post-print versions (editorial versions) on personal or institutional websites, including a link to the journal's website and providing the full citation method. Ería and its URL https://reunido.uniovi.es/index.php/RCG/index are the only authorized sources for correctly citing the editor's version in all article references.
