The role of mothers in the transmission of assets. Study of female wills from a gender perspective

Abstract

The introduction of gender studies in the investigation of the History of Women means transferring the field of study from the public sphere to the private sphere, making visible the influence of women in the construction of societies, beyond direct and formal political power. In the present work, from the study of some wills of women in favor of the women of their own family, we will approach the reality of inter-family female solidarity from the transmission of heritage.
