Abstract

The arrival of Covid-19 generated great repercussions in university life and in the conditions to ensure the right to education, forcing teachers to reinvent the teaching methodology and integrate Information and Communication Technologies in the training process. The objective of the study was to implement the use of the Khan Academy technology platform in the statistical subject in order to promote active online learning in times of pandemic. The methodology was quantitative and descriptive techniques were used to contextualize a sample made up of third-semester students from a Higher Education Institution (SantanderColombia) (N = 123). In conclusion, the success of the implementation of the strategy was that the students were able to strengthen the different thematic axes in an asynchronous way in Khan Academy through interactive activities to which they had access at all times, in this way it was possible to overcome various difficulties that brought with it the pandemic such as connectivity, access to technological equipment, among others.
