Abstract
The presence of Roman Law in the study plans of Spanish faculties of law is under question. As a result of the 1990 reforms and the implementation of the European Credit-Transfer System (ECTS), our discipline has lost ground in the education of future jurists. Thus, this work sets out to examine two aspects prior to the definitive introduction of ECTS. Firstly, what should be taught, as it is necessary to greatly reduce the contents of the teaching programme, and, furthermore, the way in which it is to be taught, as new technology is starting to invade the lecture halls and professors of Roman Law cannot remain tied to traditional teaching systems..Downloads
