Abstract

It is well known the connection edicta praetoria-edictum provinciale and so appear in the Lex Irnitana ch. 85. My thesis is that Spanish municipal laws were written more romano and essentially were laws of control. The lex Irnitana shows the remission to the ius civile and at the same time the remission to the ius honorarium followed by all provincial governors, that in my opinion were a powerful instrument of juridical unification in the Ancient World..
