Resumen

El propósito de este trabajo es analizar las publicaciones que toman como referencia la teoría de las demandas y los recursos laborales para explicar la motivación y el bienestar entre el profesorado. Para ello, se consideraron 26 artículos publicados en tres bases de datos (ERIC, WoS y SCOPUS). La revisión revela la importancia que ha adquirido esta teoría en los últimos años en el ámbito de la educación. En los artículos revisados destaca la relevancia de los recursos laborales, como el apoyo social, y los recursos personales, como la autoeficacia, para potenciar el compromiso laboral del profesorado. Por otra parte, se muestra la relación entre las demandas laborales, como la sobrecarga de trabajo, y el burnout. Por lo tanto, esta revisión permite confirmar la relevancia de la teoría de demandas y recursos laborales para poder diseñar entornos de trabajo que protejan el bienestar profesorado y su desarrollo profesional.
