Resumen
Hay escasas evidencias sobre el empoderamiento juvenil en el ámbito de la investigación científica. Para contribuir a este fin, los objetivos de este estudio de caso son i) analizar si los roles, las responsabilidades y las relaciones en el Proyecto HEBE favorecen el empoderamiento de las personas investigadoras jóvenes y ii) analizar las acciones que se llevan a cabo para dicho objetivo, desde la reflexión de la propia práctica investigadora. Para ello, se aplica un cuestionario centrado en los factores que intervienen en su empoderamiento y una rúbrica para evaluar la contribución a las dimensiones de empoderamiento juvenil. Los resultados demuestran que los equipos diversos y estilos de trabajo democráticos y participativos favorecen el empoderamiento y el desarrollo académico y profesional de sus personas investigadoras jóvenes. Se identifican barreras y retos actuales en el desarrollo y la promoción de las personas investigadoras jóvenes, relacionadas con el compromiso social, la igualdad de género, el bienestar personal y la precariedad laboral.
