This issue presents articles from the Miscellaneous section, not linked to any specific monograph. The issue offers a broad overview of different challenges and opportunities shaping contemporary educational systems. The contributions examine key topics, including family education, service-learning in teacher training, and the impact of STEM programs on learning outcomes in socially vulnerable contexts. Additional studies explore the relationship between technological self-confidence and mathematical creative thinking in primary students, as well as the interplay between ethnicity and curriculum in a northern Chilean border region. The emotional dimension of Physical Education, gendered factors behind early school leaving among Roma students, and modelling practices in future Physics teachers further enrich the discussion. The issue closes with analyses of historical culture in primary teachers and families’ perceptions of historical thinking competencies. Altogether, the volume highlights the richness and complexity of educational research across diverse and socially significant settings.
