Abstract

Research related to the study of academic performance has proliferated in recent years, according to academic works that assess the different variables immersed in the educational context. Numerous variables have been examined in relation to the concept of academic performance: referring to students, teachers, and the educational community in general. Resilience has proven to be one of the defining variables in explaining students' academic performance. However, regarding the relationship between resilience and academic performance, the research carried out does not seem to follow common paths or find similar and conclusive results. This work aims to clarify the research related to the study of the resilience-academic performance binomial in recent years, with a population sample resulting from large-scale test designs in the educational field. In short, and as a summary, we present here a systematic literature review (RSL) that summarizes a series of articles that conceive in their objective study, the relationship between resilience and academic performance of students belonging to compulsory basic education.
