Resumen
Las intervenciones educativas que hacen uso de la comunicación aumentativa y alternativa (CAA) representan una práctica de uso habitual en el entorno escolar. Por ello, es necesario que los profesionales del ámbito socioeducativo posean una formación adecuada en este campo. Este estudio pretende analizar la presencia de la CAA en los Grados de Maestro/a de Educación Primaria (en sus diferentes menciones), Maestro/a de Educación Infantil, Psicología, Logopedia y Terapia Ocupacional. Se plantea un diseño mixto compuesto por un cuestionario para docentes universitarios vinculados con el área (n = 126) y el desarrollo de dos grupos de discusión con expertos en el ámbito de la CA (n = 13). Los resultados ponen de manifiesto la escasez de oferta formativa, la falta de tiempo para abordar los conceptos relativos a la CAA y la necesidad de intensificar la colaboración entre diferentes agentes. Actualmente estos déficits se deben compensar con formación continua externa al grado. No obstante, para poder atender al derecho a la comunicación, es necesario redoblar esfuerzos desde la formación inicial para asegurar una correcta preparación relativa a la comunicación aumentativa y alternativa de los futuros profesionales.
