Vol. 55 No. 2 (2026): Horizons of Educational Transformation
Horizons of Educational Transformation

This volume, collectively entitled Horizons of Educational Transformation, brings together contributions that address some of the main challenges and opportunities facing contemporary education, ranging from pedagogical innovation and digital transformation to assessment, inclusion, and the development of learning competencies. The issue opens with a revisitation of the article How to Conduct a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, originally published in 2010, which remains one of the most influential and highly cited papers in the history of Aula Abierta. This update provides an opportunity to reflect on the enduring relevance of its methodological contributions and its influence on the consolidation of rigorous research practices, thereby establishing a particularly fitting framework for the collection of studies presented in this volume.
